Back home in Csole D'Elsa after an am visit to hot springs recommended by manageress here,east of Siena.Had a nice bathe,sulphur smelling,avoiding getting hair wet.Lots of bronzed Italians,beach substitute.Nice facility.Day started really misty then warmed to 27!!Returned to Siena,drivers better than home and trucks behave like France!No crazy p platers.Loved Siena cathedral -breathtaking really,takes the cake in my memories.Amazing art and construction in marble.No woolies makes shopping tricky.Still living on gelati,pizza and pasta.Kids are addicted to shopping-pretty good value and quality clothing ,like target but up market.Lancia is a joy to drive but no verges and the tom tom are a struggle at times.Kids send their love.Anas crashed.Time difference is extremely tricky for skype and reception shabby here
Hey stevie you jetsetter! We have just had more floods in Melbourne & the Yarra is on flood alert. Could you pls return to that cathedral and be a little bit more pious; less of the tourist thing and more of the asking G-d for some clemency! Your travels sound great and keep on keeping on... dont forget you can also text on skype rather than phone calls to set up a time to call later on. Have fun R&M
